Professional and did my repairs within a decent amount of time. Plus - they gave me a free oil change because it was the 1st time I was there! So I'm a fan. Especially after all the bad experiences I've had with auto repair shops.
Five stars? Make it Ten! If you have a car problem, don't hesitate; call and make an appointment or stop by. You'll get a fair, honest appraisal and 'diagnosis', followed up by professional service. While waiting to be picked up while my repair was made, I heard the young man running A to Z on the phone with potential and current customers; talked with another customer who's been bringing her autos there for over ten years - as well as recommending the business to family, friends and neighbors.
After being disappointed, frustrated and angered at the poor service I received from a Toyota dealership in Chicago I decided to visit A to Z Auto Repair on a friend's recommendation. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the owner Robb and his friendly office assistant. I brought with me a quote for $1500 (including both parts and labor) of work that Toyota said I needed. The best damn place to take your car for service ! Robert is outstanding ! They are priced right and make you feel like you are a part of their family . Robert really takes the extra time to educate you about the repair . If you are in need of a repair THIS is the place !
I'm very happy with A-Z! Took in my sisters '10 Honda Civic to get a new battery after calling on the phone to get a price+time quote. Robert is very friendly and I had a new battery in all of fifteen minutes. The price was exactly what he said it'd be. I'll be going here for everything from now on! Awesome place. I had a flat and needed a plug. They went out of their way to plug the tire and place it back on my car. Honest place. I went to 2 other shops and both other shops refused to fix my tire and tried to sell me 4 new tires. My tread is at over 60 percent and i do not need 4 new tires. Thanks for doing a great job!
Out-Fricken-Standing. My family has been coming here for 10 years and have NEVER had a problem. This is a family owned business (the son recently took over and he's just as awesome). Rob, the owner, is very friendly, and will explain everything to you. I had several startability problems with my car. I replaced the alternator and battery, and after still not working, I brought it in to them. They called me the next day with the problem completely fixed, and didn't even charge me for labor. I am 53 years old and worked with many auto services. Robert, the owner of A-Z does great work, is very accommodating, and courteous. His prices are extremely reasonable. I have had Robert working on my car for a year and a half. A friend of mine introduced me to him and I no longer feel like I am getting ripped off because I am a woman and honestly I don't know much about cars. Excellent customer service, very forward about pricing, work/time involved, etc. Had to have work done on some exhaust sensors and catalytic converter - I dropped the car off at 8:30AM and drove it home before 1PM. This would have taken a whole day (if not longer) at the dealership. They also offered to drive me home as I live nearby, but I opted to rent a car from Enterprise using their associated discount (less than $30 for the day) to run errands.
