Over an hour wait for a table in a dimly lit, loud room. Anyone who'll wait this long for food, should be given a free appetizer. I have eaten the best and worst food in every gastro-pub and food truck from the outer banks to the Mississippi...this food was neither. Presentation was nominal, taste was murky and the service was best part of meal...and she had to have my $20.00 tacos remade with the hot stuff on the side. WORST, TASTELESS GUACAMOLE EVAH! We ate here for the first time Sunday, since we were out and about for my best friend and husband's birthday. The atmosphere and food was excellent and you definitely get your money's worth. Our waitress didn't act like she really wanted to be there and it was very obvious. I know everyone has bad days so we will more than likely give it another try!!

We've passed this place quite a few times without going in, but tonight my wife & I decided to check it out after a friend's recommendation. Wow, we were blown away with both flavor and hospitality. We sat at the bar due to a bit of a wait, for good reason I might add. The chargrilled oysters, seafood gumbo, po-boy, and shrimp in a bag were phenomenal. Great service and advice on menu choice from the bar tenders and sous chef. We most definitely will be returning to this gem.
Horrible service. Manager didn't want to help us with a party of 20 on a Wed night. Checks took over an hour and he refused to split them, even after we wrote out whose was whose. Very combative. Never will visit this place again.

Whenever I come to Nashville for business I always have to come to 55 South in Franklin. The spicy chicken sandwich and Bag O Shrimp is amazing!
