as always, a really good meal at 55 South! anytime I am working or even just traveling anywhere near Franklin I try to make a point stopping there for lunch or dinner. it is definitely one of my favorite restaurants! very friendly staff and just a fine place to eat...
Awesome shrimp and grits! Enjoyed the grilled oysters, too.
The hot chicken sandwich was delicious with just the right heat for me! I like it hot and spicy ! And the homemade potato chips were the best I’ve ever had! I definitely recommend 55 South!!

great atmosphere and good food
We were a table of 5. We had a wide variety of entres. The food was seasoned with a lot of pepper but still very good. The clam fries were oh so yummy. I would recommend it and would go back.
