Average Salon – Generally an average salon however some of the stylists are very rude. My friends had an awful experience getting their updos for a wedding and were really disappointed with the service.
Trendy salon, friendly and talented stylist – I walked in the door for my scheduled appointment 15 minutes early. I had to wait about 5 minutes at the desk for someone to get there, but when the receptionist did, she was very polite and offered me something to drink while I wait (she was probably just in the restroom). My stylist, Jennifer came to the waiting area to get me right on time if not just a minute or two early for my appointment. She was very nice and professional. Amazing Spa! – I am a very visual person & 526 is a so pleasing to the senses. Because 526 has an art gallery in the back there are well placed & fitting pieces of artwork throughout the salon area. The product displays are beautiful. They are wonderfully organized & presented ? they are pieces of art themselves. 526 carries Bumble products and Dermalogica skincare. Good stylist but unprofessional salon – When I showed up at the salon for the first time, the woman at the front desk said I had an appointment with a different stylist than I requested. I believe I was switched to a newer stylist because she wasn't busy. Even though I requested a specific stylist when I made the appointment (due to recommendations on Citysearch), the woman at the front desk didn't seem to think that it mattered that they had switched me to a different stylist and hadn't even called to ask if this way ok. Best salon in the city! – I LOVE 526! Everyone there is awesome, and I've had nothing but great experiences with all of the services. Great atmosphere, excellent product line, comfortable climate - an all around fabulous experience. This is what a salon should be! Fantastic First-Time Facial! – Five Two Six is a stylish, yet approachable salon. The facial (my first ever) was so relaxing! She explained everything to me beforehand, but didn't bother me with the details during the process unless I asked a question. The facial lasted a full hour and my face was glowing and looked better after. They really catered to me and I didn't feel like they were rushing to the next appointment. I'll be going back for another very soon!
Very Happy – I have visited this salon a few times and I really love it. It is very nice, the people were all friendly and they were very affordable. I have my hair colored and cut by a few different stylists and the all did a great job.
I came because of location and reviews. It didn't work out good. – It is very attractive. Parking is not great but I could overlook that. My appointment was at the end of the day. I suspect that the person was tired from the lack of enthusiasm. I did not receive what I asked for. I am a college student and I felt like I was treated as such. I understand that because it happens a lot but I needed some serious taking care of because of all the study time lately. So friendly! – I went to 526 on the recommendation of a friend of mine, and I was thrilled with the experience! The ambiance was soothing without being snooty, and there are plenty of nice things to look at while you wait. I got a haircut and color with Lezlie, and she did a great job! She was professional, but easy to talk to and was not at all condescending about the (poor!) condition of my hair.
