Mr Rundall represented me via the Direct Access scheme. In my view Mr Rundall is highly impressive. He is pragmatic, thorough, very knowledgeable, and both calm and tenacious even when under great pressure. Most importantly Mr Rundall is extremely effective, formidable in fact. I recommend Mr Rundall in the strongest possible terms. The clerks at 1GC are most helpful and thorough too.
A most disappointing, engagement with a barrister Janet Bazley in this chambers. Advice given was 180 changed from the initial meeting to the preparation of the report. Total inability to reflect or admit that they may have been wrong at any stage. The barrister even said " I am never wrong". The report even had the client's name wrong. The internal complaints procedure was a white wash and lack any genuine care or empathy for the client. This firm is best avoided.
We were very well taken care of at a difficult time
Reported to the Bar Standards Board. Highly unethical.
