1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. Love the atmosphere, drinks and the food. My go to place in Old Town.
Good food! The 1909 Burger was delicious as was the beet and watermelon salad. Service was great - our server seemed to love serving us.
Good was great ... The rib eye was a bit to well for my taste, but I still enjoyed it, The ceviche was on point, kids food and wife's and rest of the family's meals were also good, drinks strong enough but the reason why this place is getting a 3 is for service... They can literally work on their approach and delivery systems.
We’ve only visited once, but it was a great experience. Had the airline cut free range chicken which was good, fish tacos, and the crab and shrimp empanada appetizer. Beer could’ve been served in a bigger glass. Probably only a 12 ounce glass...20 would’ve been better.
Waiting for a drink at the bar is tough. It’s very slow! But once you get seated the service and food are outstanding!!!
Great food and cocktails! Wonderful and accommodating staff! We will be there again this weekend and bringing some of our best friends with us.
Again...good fare and great drinks. Sadly...the staff has much to learn about customer service. Maybe, it was just the ones working tonight...�
Stopped by for a beer and app before hitting up Devilicious for our main meal destination. Service was prompt, friendly and food was tasty. Always pleasant here.
