A wonderful quaint American restaurant. Excellently tailored menu, wine list, and staff. A gem of a restaurant baked in American history.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with a dinner at 1789. From the moment we walked in we felt taken care of with excellent service, which continued until the moment we left. The food was superb. We enjoyed a pre set 5 course tasting menu. My favorite was the Long Island Cresdent Duck! The Bellini Peach dessert was fabulous! Can't wait to celebrate another occasion there!
We had the good fortune of photographing a wedding at 1789 last night. We were totally impressed with every staff member we encountered. They were completely professional, helpful, and friendly. And the food was fantastic. I'd highly recommend it!
My husband and I came to Arlington to celebrate our one year anniversary. We are so glad we chose 1789 for our big dinner. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Every person who stopped by the table wished us a happy anniversary. And at the end of the night, they presented us with a copy of our menu. Thank you for making such a special memory for us!
There are many places you eat out at and many things are good or great and then a few items you say that was ok. Last night everything was great. Not one item we said it was just ok. The entire staff and team well trained and are pro's at their career. Awesome. Finished the night at the small bar for after dinner drink. Bartender was enjoyable to watch because he does a lost art!
