Beware...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RAT PACK. Horrible experience. The least of the problems is that they didn't pick up the container on the agreed upon time frame therefore I didn't have access to my driveway for days. And you cannot get anyone on the phone to help as they don't answer. The worst part is they damaged my asphalt driveway picking up the container. I filed a claim for damages which they denied stating that I agreed in the terms and condition to be solely responsible for any damage THEIR employee/driver causes to... read more

STAY AWAY! I wish I'd read this before we contracted them to move a pod of light furniture but mainly keepsakes from my dad who passed away recently. They arrived on 7/24/20 and packed the items (which was it's own fiasco but not worth explaining, just say it did not go as agreed to) this was $2840! Then we received an email on 8/3/20 that her contain had arrived at it's destination, the zippy shell storage facility and she was changed another $159 for storage. This is undoubtedly the WORST company I have ever dealt with... DO NOT try to call them. They will put you into voicemail first and never, ever pick up the phone. They give you only ONE phone number on their website and blur out any other numbers. The owners last name is blurred out. Packrat was supposed to pick up their pod from my home (after use) on the 28th of August. NO SHOW. They called and told me that their driver called in and told them he just didn't want to work that day. They promised the 29th. NO SHOW. The 30th ... read more

This company has been terrible to work with. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE FOR EXISTING CLIENTS. After weeks of trying to call, I finally called the new client number and got through right away. Be aware, you have to contact them directly to make payments. They will not move the pod unless you talk to them in person. This has been an issue with pickup, transport and delivery. I have tried to reach someone for the past three days to cancel an order for a storage pod delivery. NO ONE answers the phone for existing customers. I have left messages...not returned. I have emailed the company via their website...no response. Today, I called AGAIN and selected new customer, left a message and SURPRISE they returned call within 15 minutes. Never again will I use this company! I contracted with Pack-Rat moving (*********************************** for a container to be dropped off at my house. The container was dropped off on 5/27/2020, loaded and picked up on 5/28/2020 and was to be delivered to ********** Ma.on June 10,2020. I called on the 10th to schedule delivery and was told it was still in *****. My container was finally delivered on Monday, June 22.. 12 days late. I was told I would be refunded $50.00 a day. Where to start...first my family was under the impression that when we were ready for our pack rat to be picked up it wouldn't take a week for them to come and get it. We moved 1.5 hrs away and our pack rat is still sitting in the driveway of our previous house unattended. They were supposed to pick it up yesterday, but had "truck issues" and promised it would be picked up today. They did go to pick it up today, but were unable to. They asked if we overloaded it. August 19, 2020 I scheduled a unit for a cross country move in early May. I had a pod delivered to my home in late July. There was absolutely no problem with the original delivery or pickup of the unit. I paid in full and that's when the problems began! The unit was picked up July 31st with a delivery date set in *******. I called a week ahead of the unit delivery to be sure everything was on schedule as planned. I am completely frustrated with the billing system of 1 800 Pack Rat. I received a quote from them for approximately 4300 dollars including tax for the use of 2 (16 foot) containers. This price beat **** by about 100 dollars so I figured that I would give them a chance. I had used **** service before and I was happy with them.
