Actually, if I could give zero stars I would. This company is very shady and I cannot trust them! We made a long distance move from ****** TN to********** OH. We had our containers dropped off to our home in TN on 6/16 and the other one on 6/22. They were both picked up promptly on 6/26. We made payment that day, which they did not draw right awayWe moved into our new OH home on 7/3. The containers were initially scheduled to be delivered on 7/6. DO NOT USE! They are "horrible" with communications on delays. I've had three delays with my containers. When I try to call, I am on hold for nearly 1 hour each time. When I do get through, the front desk folks don't have the power to do anything. This is a "bait & switch" firm. Prove me wrong and pick up the phone when a client calls. It took 3 days for a supervisor to call (after they received 2 emails from their front desk). When they called, they "guaranteed delivery on-time". Warning to all,"STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY". you have been warned... I'm not the type to write negative reviews, but this company deserves nothing else. After placing an order for a log distance container, my wife and I decided to cancel and take a different route. Calling Pack and canceling an order is like finding a cure for every disease on earth.{impossible} After a half day of calling, we got nobody. My initial experience with them started out great. My container was delivered on time and the driver was pleasant to deal with. I was told to be sure to schedule my delivery and pick up at least 2-weeks in advance to ensure I get my spot. On the day of my pickup I called and spoke with customer service to ensure I was still on the schedule and the agent reassured me that I am on schedule and that the local dispatch was not busy. Pack Rat initially seemed like a great solution for our moving needs - in terms of price and convenience. Due to a change in our plans, however, we no longer needed their services. This is where our frustrating experience commenced: We called to cancel our reservation and expected to be able to have the representative do this with little issue. I have never had such a horrible experience with a company. I ordered a shipping container (in March) for a long distance move. My full shipping container was scheduled to be delivered at my new address on July 11th. Still receiving no word that afternoon I called customer service to receive an ETA on my unit. Customer service informed me that my unit was still scheduled for that day and would be delivered by 5:00 PM. This is the first BBB review I have ever been angry enough to submit. If I could, I would give this company zero stars. I used 1-800 Pack-Rat to move my possessions from *******, Ga to *********, Fl. At first, their customer service seemed responsive. I received a better bid from another moving company and 1-800 Pack-Rat adjusted their price and delivery window to beat that bid. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with! They deserve 0 stars!! *********** and Pack Rat merged and the customer service is the worst!! I am active duty military and am required to have weight tickets to get reimbursed for my move. The person who set up my service was extremely nice and assured me I would be given weight tickets. My experience with Pack Rat's extremely bad customer service We are planning a cross country move and wanted to use a 1-800-Pack-Rat container for moving some of the boxes and possessions conveniently.
