This company left me completely hanging. They called me the day before they were supposed to deliver my pod for my cross country move and told me that they could not deliver it due to not having a permit. I scheduled the delivery more than two weeks in advance. At no point did the agent I spoke to mention needing a permit, or I would have gladly paid for it. We received a container with a fire ant mound in one corner. A big ole pile of sand and ants swarming in and out of it. We called to switch containers and they said they were unable to pick up until the next day but were unable to give me a time. They refused to issue me a refund.

Arrangements were made with our local facility to have a replacement unit delivered the next morning. We also offered to waive the final pickup fee. I was approved for $1500 to use. I purchased a couple of items from nest Bedding which I paid $45 and they paid the rest. Before the order was shipped I had to cancel it and the would not give my $45 back. A month later I wanted to purchase some items from nest buy now my account was canceled which noone at the company could explain why this happened so now they would not approve my account, I mean I month later, come on
I was extremely disappointed in the time table for the pick-up of an empty container. It is unacceptable to have an empty container sit in a driveway for 3-4 weeks AND to pay rent on it. I complained and the rent was taken off but the container still has to sit in my driveway for 3 weeks. Terrible!!

So let it be known to never use Zippy Shell of Tampa Bay for anything. They are crooks, who refuse to even get on get on the phone to discuss issues. Zippy Shell USA should be ashamed to have a franchise operated like this. The owner Luigi Del B. is literally a crook. This the worst company to deal with. We had a unit full of water and lost our kids furniture, beds, family pictures, kids yearbooks, and some much more. We filed a claim and they denied it because they said it was due to rising water. Now we paid to have our unit stored inside and there was a hole in the roof of the unit. We get in touch with COO and his guy calls us back and tells us that they want to give us $1000 to show they have a heart. The next day its $2,000. He tells me that its not hush money. We chose Zippy Shell even though they cost more than ****. We liked the concept and were excited to support a new company. Drop off of the trailer in the Denver metro area was seamless and well communicated. We packed it tight, like not an inch to spare tight. Packrat Container Terrible Issue Bottom-line: They lied to us over and over ....again and again about Delivery, Travel time, Drop off and even the Pick-ups of our Reserved Containers. They gave us false information constantly (Even the Resolution Supervisor (Mr. *********) stated that we would still get the same expedited service of 7-10 days but not be charged for it. They arrived and did not express correctly the parking situation required. I had to switch spots with a neighbor for four days to accommodate the containers' need. Then our stuff arrived four days later than committed to by their sales rep, they drove right past our home and brought it to their facility and then refused to deliver it for three days.
