Our friend told us to eat at Zahav. It was last minute, so no reservation. Having only one night in Philadelphia, she said to go early and wait as long as it takes. We arrived around 5:30 and decided to wait. They served us a very nice manhattan while we waited. Around 6:45 we were seated at the "Chef's Bar." It was fantastic and well worth the wait. Awesome food, awesome service, music was too loud.
Phenomenal service, attention to detail, and thoughtfully created dishes make you wish you lived next door to this establishment. It's a magical carpet ride of flavors that seamlessly go together from beginning to end. Add fun atmosphere and entertaining bar staff and you have the complete package. Worth the wait.
