As a parent chaperone for a 5th grade student, I think may have enjoyed the experience as much as my daughter and her classmates. They actually had fun while learning. Working with others, paychecks, bills, job responsibilities, interviewing was only a part of the day. Loved it!
Ameritowne was so well designed and the kids absolutely loved it. Very clean and a beautiful place. More communication could have been given to each "business" that they took out a loan for X amount and they need to sell their product to cover that. The kids focused on their own paycheck and buying stuff. But they all had fun being grown ups for a few hours.
