This is an extremely valuable experience and opportunity for students to learn monetary values and principles that last. As a volunteer not only do I get the chance to pour into lives of our youth but I'm enriched by the experience to learn from future leaders and entrepreneurs. It's a win-win.
I recommend this bank, because it is kid friendly and I feel so comfortable when I go there!!!! Not only is it a bank, they have a lot of education around money. If you have a child, they should know about this bank!!

Love everything about this place!! I’m so happy I found for my little girl. Wish I had this when I was little. Kids bank and teaching classes to help kids learn about money!!! It’s a win win.
We went to the GVR location twice to attempt to open an account and both times we could not because of inaccurate information. We wasted our time and this creates a negative first experience with the banking system. The location does not even have a flyer or handout listing the requirements for opening an account. At this point my experience has been so negative that I am more likely to open their accounts at my own bank rather than Young Americans. Which is sad considering I am an educator.
