The first and second visit it’s was perfect. The last one it’s went down the drain. I never saw uncaring staff then in this hospital when you bring your dog with emergencies. They just sit there . Nobody in a hurry. The staff don’t even inform the doctor as far I understood as when I left the hospital the doctor still outside talking with another client of them. RecommendedWe had a scare with our dog Bella on a snowy Sunday night and had to find a 24hr hospital. We ended up at VCA in Newark and were so happy we did! Every staff member we dealt with throughout the 48 hours Bella was there was wonderful, caring and helpful. I would call to check on her and the staff would happily give an update on her and made it known that we could call whenever we wanted for updates. RecommendedWe drove 1 1/2 hrs to have my little dog checked out bcuz he was having mobility issues and wouldn't eat, drink etc. The Dr and staff are AMAZING. They diagnosed the problem and it wasn't a long wait at all. The vet kept us informed by calling our cell phone, multiple times, throughout the entire visit, as we weren't allowed to be in the facility due to COVID. My little guy is feeling better today and is able to walk again ❤️
