Yale misdiagnosed me with pancreatitis and kept discharging me against my will as I was very sick and could not eat food without pain and other GI symptoms. I lost 15 pounds in less than 2 months. They said there was nothing else they can do for me. I took my care to Boston and was diagnosed with Gastroparesis/motility disorder. Yale removed my gallbladder unnecessarily as well as it was perfectly healthy. They never even considered a workup for motility disorder. I would not recommend this hospital. By far the best emergency room and hospital experience I've ever received. We didn't even end up sitting in the waiting room, they bought us right to labor and delivery and every single nurse, attendant a doctor that saw us treated us as if we were extremely important which was much more than we were treated at the last hospital and doctors where we came from Who undermined our concerns and thought we were over exaggerating when Yale was able to get to the bottom of it and realize there was actually something wrong. My son has been in Yale New Haven Hospital for 3 days now for a blood clot they have him in a room that is filthy nasty disgusting nothing is clean everything is sticky dirty the nurses the night shift nurses are terrible no mannerism whatsoever sarcastic and snotty do not want to be bothered took them 3 hours to bring my son a sandwich he came in without eating they gave him medicine that made him nauseous 3 hours it took her to get him a sandwich that I had to remind her twice he's in the East Pavilion that side needs to b... read more
My doctor is awesome, the hospital is and staff are amazing.
Yale is an excellent place to go thank god for the perfessionals that Yale has without them I believe I would still be in pain and waiting a while for the hospital were I live to attend me thank you Yale.
Thanks to Dr Inzucchi, Dr Manes and Dr Omay and especially their nurses. The staff on the 7th floor ICU staff, Nurse Ginny, Nurse Christina they were all so very awesome. They all tolerated our huge family presence. Thanks to all!
My mom spent about 3 weeks total in the east pavilion at Yale new haven hospital because all of her oncologists recommended it. I expected a lot out of such a notoriously exceptional hospital. However, my expectations fell extremely short of reality. I have had more tentative service at 2 star restaurants. The best place to be in if your not feeling good, the nurses are always in a such good spirit and is the place wear my daughter was born, both of them
