Have spent 24 hours in the ED and its waiting area to get a family member admitted. Very confused doctors who don't communicate well between services, never mind with the family . The only positive was Eileen from patient relations who tried to expedite things. Otherwise...Not impressed!
My 91 year old mother has been waiting to have a CTscan for the past 5 hours. This is ridiculous. The morphine they gave her for pain is starting to wear off. A doctor hasn't been in the room for over 4 hours.
My Mom has had multiple stays at this hospital, in fact she's there now because of recent medical issue. Because of her multiple health issues, there needs to me more collaboration between ALL of her doctors and not just people guessing on how to treat her when she's admitted here. There was talk of discharging her yesterday when she was still in pain, but then in comes another doctor saying she had to stay so more tests could be done, so they could determine exactly what's wrong, and this is why I've given the hospital such... read more
So I love the fact that I am sitting in the hallway on a stretcher with a horrible itchy rash, waiting to be discharged and literally just witnesses at least 10 of the ER staff walk outside to look at the damn eclipse. Don't worry peeps not like any of us mind you not doing your job and abandoning an ER full of patients to look up at the sun.
I was there for two days and the exp was horrible they lost my car and i left there the same way i came in..... In pain.....

As a published clinician in Neuro Science, this place will kill you. Don't go. I'd say more but that's for a court room. They nearly killed me 3 times, but...fortunately I'm quite wily, like my 'Old Man'.
