a great gym with everything you need plus more. Staff are friendly and prompt to solve problems. XSport corporate however is ran poorly.
Front desk receptionists are sub par professionals! Honestly got turned away from this gym from the way they treat guests upon entrance. Unprofessional individuals who are rude. Xsport please hire some more pleasant individuals ! I will take my business elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and go to the brickyard location or even planet fitness!
Great place to work out. Also the jacuzzi and whirlpool are great.
Guest passes are $20, wtf. Mens locker room filthy I'd be afraid of catching MRSA, or any bacterial infection didn't see any staff in there cleaning at all.
I've read other reviews about this place so I tested out everything. Classes, pool, spa, personal training and I have no compliants with any of that. The only two things are the tvs.. they keep disconnecting and there are two rusted bikes chained to the racks. I would like to lock up my bike close to the gym, not across the street. I joined this gym thinking its one of the best quality places to workout. So far Im glad Im still a member at Planet Fitness. My first day I asked a staff member if he can help me work the treadmill. His response I dont know, he was in a rush and disturbed. I touched a button by mistake and he was like you just reset it again and walked away. One of the reasons I joined xsport was because you were allowed to bring a guest. When It actually came around to brining a guest they told him that he couldn't use the basketball court. We then told the person that we would just be working out the guy then threatened to revoke my membership if my guest played ball. After getting changed and telling the guy we were just going to workout the guy had the balls to come up to us and tell us that we should just go home because he knew we weren't going to work out. It's impossible to cancel a membership here. You have to come in before 6pm. Robert from the Logan Square location just told me that was my only option and I would have to just come back before 6pm. I know the other way is to send an actual letter in the mail. You would think their 24 hours open hours would attract those that are not available before 6pm. People love to complain about this place, I don't get it. The price is right, there are many amenities, they have all the equipment you could need to burn fat and build muscle, and they have locations all over the city and burbs. This is not a premium facility for the the ultra rich or those that need pampering.
