Many years ago, Woodridge was my first experience in treatment for my alcohol dependency. I was very well cared for and it took me another decade of relapse and periods of recovery to finally reach the present moment. I've been clean/sober over five years now; I will always have a special place in my heart for Woodridge Hospital.
I would definitely not recommend this place after the staff robbed my sister of her bath and body works gift set. Whoever stole it should be fired with the manager. Don't waste your time here.
Based on my experience being there all the people really helped a lot. A lot of people want to complain about this place but believe it or not they actually helped me and didn't dope me up like I had heard they would. Things happen to some of us and we need that extra support from time to time and I thank all the staff on Cedar unit for helping me when I needed it at a crucial time in my own life.
