The speech therapist Joi needs therapy herself. She came into my father’s room with a speech therapy student, and the student had to explain things to her. Joi was so confused and kept asking the same questions because she forgot. She was having more memory issues than my 80-year-old father with dementia. My dad better not get a bill for that walk down forgetting lane.
When you work in the hospital with older people you should have a heart and a lot of patience. Joi Hamm the speech therapist at the hospital was rude, disrespectful, and downright mean to m father. He has dementia and was very sick with a fever and blood sickness. He was talking out of his head and didn’t understand what people were doing to him.
