Unethical Business Practices keep taking place at this bank. Today, main issue is I did not receive a receipt of my withdrawal of $. This is important! Anyone could fill out a dep or withdrawal form including the tellor! I got a receipt everytime in the past how is it you dont give receipts now. I asked the woman do i got a receipt for the withdrawal. She said "You don't get a receipt." This was a black woman with carmel colored glasses. I didn't see her name on the tag. But this is not right.

I have banked with woodforest national bank in NC for approximately 9 years. Over the years of banking with them, I made numerous check deposits with no issues. Over the past year, I have been having issues with check deposits. Today, 1/2/18, I tried to cash a check or deposit it if there was an issue cashing it. The teller spoke with the the manager and the manager told the teller there's no issue with the check. He has to verify the check number on the check. I got a call from this business asked me to used them .Im new ,not that good in understand English ,they send me email to sign a contract ,from listening to they explain ,I want to try .But after I sign the contract ,later on send me note change the fee ,I want to cancel them so bad ,they want to charge me $1500 for the fee .So I have to keep them no choice .Now the contract almost over ,my business name change ,I call them up to updated the new business name ,they want me sign a paper ,I told them I don’t want to sign anymo... read more

This all began in December 2016. My husband and I are instructors of emergency pet services classes, we received large amount of checks from a class we taught. Woodforest Bank informed me that one of the checks we cashed had returned as NSF. We asked for a copy of the check and received one. We contacted the check writer and he informed us and showed proof that the check had not been returned and the funds had been removed from his account. Woodforest National Bank Merchant services is the worst. My husband closed his practice and for three weeks we tried to contact the bank to terminate the services. We received one call back in three weeks. We got excuses like employees were on break; employees with other customers; return calls can take up to 24 hours, to make a long story short they try to delay the termination since they keep charging during this time.
