RecommendedI had a awesome experience here. The nurses, doctors and staff were on top of things always and they were all really sweet.
My son was brought into the ER there at Women and Children’s by ambulance on October 23, 2018 around 9:00 p.m. He was laying down at home when he started feeling numbness in both arms, couldn’t move them very well, had drooping of the face on the right side and slurred speech. When we got to the hospital, we were triaged and at that point the numbness was gone but the slurring and such were still present. We were put in a room—he was not hooked to any type of monitors. Some of the nursing staff was great. Our doctor was great. The hospital is miserable. The support staff is atrocious and their billing is insane. My experience with this hospital has prompted me to get a vasectomy to avoid any chance of getting overcharged for marginal service again.
Got here about 8:30pm and it is now 12:25am.... the online estimated time was 11 mins for waiting...... it’s damn near four hours and we have been told that they have no available rooms..... um, why couldn’t the staff tell me this about 4 hours ago. I would of gladly went to another hospital. Mind you we are still waiting for stitches � never has this happen to me when we come to this hospital.
My baby spent the first 3 weeks of her life at Women and Children's. I was always treated good and my baby was always seen about. The people here are great. I am happy to say that onky after a week of being home my baby is completely off Oxygen. She is 2 months old now.
How great the staff and Dr. work together and how all patients and family members, guests are made to feel welcome and everyone works together to make sure you get better.

I can't explain how happy I am that we went there. Great care from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out. Every staff member was exceptional. We bring the most important pieces of our lives their for care and not once did I feel like they didn't have my daughter's well being at heart.
