My son was born July 24th. He spent from July 24-aug 4 in the nicu. It took almost a week before I met his dr face to face. They decided he would need a trach and a gtube and wanted to move him to New Orleans. When I asked what it would take the get a second opinion bc I didn't feel comfortable with what they were telling me I was ridiculed and was told that our second opinion would be in New Orleans when he was having those procedures done. Today my lil boy had a hearing test and like always the nurses and staff didn’t disappoint me. They lived up on my baby boy like he was their own. Answered all my crazy questions. I absolutely love women’s and children hospital they r the best and treat my kids like their own..... ���
I’ve had all three of my babies here and had great experiences each time! The nurses and staff are wonderful and so sweet!
Ridiculous! FOUR �� HOURS, and it’s not busy, like are you kidding me? Kid comes in with abdominal pain and vomiting, you should check that shit ASAP, and “you can’t give them water or food until the doctor sees them” SO JUST DEHYDRATE AND STARVE THEM, BECAUSE YOU’LL BE WAITING FOR EVER. Rude staff, and no sense of urgency whatsoever.
This is such a great hospital for kids! The whole staff has been so kind and making my little girl feel special. The kindness here makes it a lot less scary for a child.
