Worse service, combined with bad food – I have never seen such a downright rude waiter in this city. Not at a nice steakhouse like Wolfgang's where you would expect to have a more attentive and professional service, when you see the Internet-side. He rushed us, took our plates away when we weren't finished, and was practically throwing things around. No basic manners at all. Our steaks were like coal. Terrible Service, overpriced and rude... – What an aweful experience. We booked a table for 4 for Thursday night dinner. Since we knew it would be busy we confirmed the reservation the day before. My parents were coming into town and we wanted to treat them to a special night out - what a mistake to pick Wolfgangs...We arrived at 7:30pm, right on time for our reservation, the hostess frantically searched the computer system for our reservation. Very Very Dissapointing Service – Our recent experience at WolfGangs Park Avenue is the worst experience I have had service-wise at a restaurant anywhere. I will never return. I booked 3.5 weeks in advance of Valentines day, rang to confirm the day before - they had lost the booking completely! No reference of first name, lastname, phone number. Completely Satisfied – I know to many saying that Wolfgangs tops Lugers would be a sin but it does come awfully close. Their bacon app and creamed spinach were better than Lugers and the porterhouse was on par. If I close my eyes i could have swore i was eating at Lugers. Service was just as good on a crowded Friday night.Its not Per Se service wise but as steakhouses go you couldnt ask for more. go cincinnati reds – My wife and I were in NYC for the Reds and Yankee's series, someone recomended Wolfgang's, We made reservations two hours in advance. We showed up on time and were seated promptly. We were very happy with our waiter Giacamo, he made us feel at ease. He also helped us with our menu choice. The food was great, service was great, and my tip was great.

terrible, terrible, terrible – We went there dreaming a great steak. Although we had a reservation for 8.30 we got our table at 9:30 !What we got was overcooked or lets say burned steak for four of us. We had a table at the corner and there was no way for the waiters to walk that's why when they were walking around our table they were hitting or pushing our chairs. Check is very high for rude service and for a burned steak. Never never never never again. We did a big big mistake.

Very Mediocre Food at High Prices -- Steak Overcooked and tasteless – I would avoid spending your money at this place. While a few steaks in our party were cooked properly, those of us who ordered the filet mignon had rare orders served medium and medium orders served well done. The meat was dry and tasteless. The vegetables, in contrast, were undercooked. The draft beer was good. Excellent Meat - Excellent Service – Without having to travel to Brooklyn for a great steak, Wolfgang's delight us with their aged meat selection. The porterhouse, my favorite. I recently was at his newly opened restaurant in Beverly Hills, I was impreseed by the service and flavors. Wolfgang's experience shows, he knows how to please the pallate. Watch your pockets - they rob you left and right – I had friends from out of town come visit, since i couldn't get a table at last minute at Luger's I figured to try this place out. We sat at a nice table of 8 in the corner of the front room. We were drinking moderately priced reds - $70 a bottle which were towards the low end of the wine menu.
