Waste of time and money. Not to mention the exam room was shockingly filthy. I brought my child to Asheville ENT after two referrals from a pediatrician and lactation consultant, who both diagnosed my son with a severe lip tie that interfered with feeding. They had mentioned it was the most severe they had ever seen. We were informed by the Asheville ENT referral specialist that all the ENT physicians at Asheville ENT are trained and equipped to handle lip tie procedures as well as all trained to work with pediatric patients, specifically. Upon entering the exam room, there was some sort of brown gook splattered across a large portion of the wall, as well as on the table, with the instruments laying in a puddle of this questionable substance. I’ve never witnessed such an unclean space at any doctors office before. I wish I had taken pictures! Ted B. Rheney, Jr., MD was the physician that saw us at our appointment to fix my son’s lip tie. He was in the room no more than five minutes total and informed me that he and “a doctor that did some work with pediatrics in the past” had already decided, prior to out appointment, that a lip tie procedure wouldn’t’ be necessary for my son. This is interesting to me, that a decision was made BEFORE actually seeing my son. I didn’t appreciate his only offer of advice being, “You’re just going to have to tough it out.”, either. I had to continue to prompt and ask him for advice, that he didn’t seem inclined to even give, without my continued prompting. All this, in under five minutes time. And we were billed $150 up front and it is yet to be determined the whole bill, for this complete waste of time. This doctor left the room without even say goodbye. I do not recommend Asheville ENT or this doctor at all, but especially do not recommend to any pediatric patients. Parents, beware.

I was diagnosed with sensorineural deafness at AHNE nearly 20 years ago. The staff is always supportive and helpful when I have needed adjustments and equipment cleanings.

I have never left any type of establishment out of anger, especially a doctor's office. But today, that has changed! Dr Seal was a COMPLETE ASSHOLE!! Arrogant, terrible attitude, and condesceding. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!
