The only real option out here. It is SOOOOO SLOW. When it rains, it goes out. They've been punching orange conduit through the ground around here. But when I go to their website to find out when it'll be available here, their site doesn't function. So I used the contact page to ask. Nobody can give me an answer other than another person to contact. We can't even stream a movie out here, and we pay $66/month for this? Come on, Windstream.
Visiting Blairsville Ga and the house where we are staying has Windstream cable and it has yet to come on. You should shut down your crappy company monopoly and let someone else install equipment that works.
Terrible Internet. Never works and is way too expensive. Working on cancelling my internet through them as we speak. I spend half my time trying to get the Internet to work rather than actually getting to use it. Tonight it's not working because of an "outage", which we got no notification for. I absolutely hate windstream.

Do not get Windstream! The connection is horrible. We have been in an "internet blackout" going on three weeks and no one can give us a straight answer on when it will be fixed. Unfortunately its the only internet company that services Manning...
Y'all need to make it bigger so truck driver can us it on the go if y'all can use satellite. So u can get more ppl to join the internet and make more money I'm a truck driver and it sucks not to have internet access at all hope y'all get this done
I am not from USA, I am from India and never used Windstream service ever, BUT i am writing this post coz i got my first job there in customer care service dept and have very fond memories of it, I left 9 yrs ago but i owe a lot to windtsream for what i am today, i miss you so much, Yes i agree there service might not be up to the mark for their customers :( I wish Windstream best of luck and also definitley request to improve their service for the benefit of their customers, :)
I have had Windstream for 8 years. And in that 8 years I have made hundreds of phone calls and complaints. I realized I was paying to be miserable, so I canceled my plan. Unfortunately crappy internet is better than no Internet. So a month later I called and signed up again. I lost my 3mbps"laughing" Because they now only offer 1mbps. It takes 3 hours to watch a 30 show. Shame on you windstream. You are ripping people off. Give us what we pay for, or else we will revolt against you.
It seems my DSL has degraded quite a bit over the past several weeks and reporting it seems pointless. Hoping for better days ahead.
