Had a few windows replaced a few years ago. It was a stationary window in the middle and 2 double hungs on either side. The stationary window developed a leak in the seal and they did come out and replace it under the warranty. A few years later and we are looking to start replacing our windows 1 or 2 at a time because we want to pay cash and avoid financing. We were shocked that there was a $175.00 SET UP FEE! They are very professional, workers very efficient. Sales staff very knowledgeable.
Today I had the picture window replaced, under warranty by Window World. The two craftworkers were Nick and Andy. They knew what they were doing, and had the window in and out in short order. Very professional ! I couldn't be more pleased ! Lee Kurtz
They had to reschedule us but promised us a bigger crew to "knock it out in one day". ONE guy showed up. Good thing my husband was home today, because HE is helping him. Then, it turns out 4 of our windows were measured/ordered wrong. And the answers from their customer service differ depending on who you talk to. The installer was very apologetic, but it's not his fault. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. Not professional at all, certainly not what I expected from a big name company.
Day #2 of taking off work and my windows still aren't installed. We've had to call them three times today to find out that now they aren't coming. I'm hoping the installation process (if that occurs) is better than the service we've had so far.
Ordered windows a month ago, they cashed my check and still haven't heard one word from them! They need to quit standing on their windows and start installing them!!
