DO NOT LIVE HERE, if you don’t want to sleep in an 83 degree apartment. Even though the air conditioning being broken when it’s 80 degrees or hotter outside is an emergency maintenance issue, they won’t fix it until the next day because it’s dark out or put you in a hotel for the night. You will be sweating and not able to get any sleep. Also, this is a constant issue, so their back up window vent pretty much lives at our place and does not cool down our 2 bedroom apartment. I come from China. There are about twenty Chinese families live here. It is a big community and family. Our dauthter loves this family because there are many children playing together. Now, we swim in the pool everyday. There are lots of funny here.
Awesome location! Close to piedmont hospital, shopping, food, and grocery store within walking distance. The staff has been very friendly and helpful so far. Safe gated community.
Renovations are underway and the property is amazing!
Ever since being sold by Post, this complex has fallen apart. Management team won't respond to concerns, cars and apartments are being broken into without a plan for increased security, and residents feel unsafe and uncared for by leasing team and management. Post wasn't anything to write home about, but now The Pointe at Collier Hills is an embarrassment and a tarnish on the brand. I've never felt more unsafe or uncared for than I do when I interact with these people.
I typically am not the type to leave reviews; however, I do usually read reviews to educate myself before committing to a company or service. I am writing this review in hopes that it will save people from the troubles that will surely arise if you choose to rent from Village Green, The Pointe at Collier Hills. I am a current resident and am re-signing for another year! This is a great complex! I was worried when I heard Post was being purchased by the Pointe (because who doesn't love Post?) but I have found current management to be incredibly kind and accommodating - especially the property manager Jillian! She and her staff are always bending over backwards to make sure their tenants are happy. I have had no problems with management, crime, facilities, or maintenance. My problems here didn't start until village green bought the post out. Gave my 30 day notice for February back in September. I thought everything was good until I got a notice 10 days AFTER the 60 days limit that they still "hadn't heard from me". I went in the office and they were completely unwilling to work with me and couldn't find my notice. Basically told me too bad and were incredibly rude about it.
