I purchased a sofa from pottery barn. Within 18 months the back had collapsed on the sofa. The sofa is well cared for, without an incident that could have caused this. I paid over 2 grand for the sofa. After speaking with customer service, I was informed that I somehow had caused the sofa to become damaged. How they determined this when they never even inspected the sofa, I have no clue. The sofa was not damaged by me, it is an inferior product. My review is about westelm****, a subsidiary of Williams Sonoma, Inc. I often receive promotional email from westelm.***, and sometimes it contains promo codes. There were many occasions that I found something I liked and wanted to make use of the promo code, but so many times it doesn't work. They create such a terrible user experience for their customers, and they don't seem to care at it, because I have complained about it several times to the customers service, but nothing changed in my experience.

Looking at the website for Pottery Barn, I see "customer service" listed, but when I phoned today with an issue to report, I was told "we don't have a person that can take your call". I have been jerked around by the bank that holds the Pottery Barn credit card (Comenity Bank), and now by Pottery Barn too. The dis-connect between Pottery Barn and Comenity Bank leaves the customer out in the cold with a bill they don't owe. I have recently moved to the area and ordered thousands of dollars of furniture from at West Elm. I have had nothing but problems. These people are NOT interested in the customer. After shipping me a chair that did not work, they never picked it up when they said they would. Then when I cancelled an order for a bed on April 1st and spoke with 2 people who assured me that it had been cancelled, when I didn't see the credit appear on my statement, I called again on April 6th and spoke with ******** who said that no, the order ... read more

I will never do business with Williams Sonoma again. They have the worst customer service. I ordered a vitamix blender online...the very next day they went on sale. They refused to refund me the difference. I returned the $600 vitamin blender and will never give them a dime of my money again. They also did not ship the item in the timeline promised.

I ordered two Groovy Swivel Chairs from Pottery Barn Teen online on November 21, 2016. These chairs ($399.00 each) were to be Christmas presents for my two teen-aged children. Both colors were listed as available online. When I added them to my cart, the availability date changed to January for one of the chairs. I proceeded to call PB to see if they had that one at a store not too far from me. I ordered a table and bench on January 17 , 2017 and still haven't received it due to one piece never arriving. I called multiple times and was in contact via email and no one can ever tell me where or why my furniture hasn't arrived. They ordered a replacement on February 27th. That didn't arrive either so they just ordered another piece today on March 13th. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. I ordered a Henry Sectional couch from West Elm on August 5th, 2016 and was told that with the fabric I choose the couch would be custom made upon the order and delivered between 8-12 weeks. When the couch arrived at the 12 week mark the brackets that hold the 3 pieces together were misaligned. I called customer service and was told that a new end piece will be shipped within 2-4 weeks.
