Dr. Lahners is a leader in his field and he is aided by a highly professional staff. I was very happy with the results and have recommended him to others. I was nervous before the procedure but was put at ease by the professionalism of Dr. Lahners and his staff.

Had two cataracts removed and lens implant which restored my distance vision to near 20/20 from 20/200 and 20/300 and my near vision will be corrected with new lenses. I am 77 and I have had poor distance since 5 years old.
Professional staff. Treated respectfully. The billing department I spoke with were very efficient and KIND. Exceptional service. If I had to say one thing that I, personally needed, was more explanation as to the different selection of lenses. They did explain the lenses but perhaps I didn’t comprehend the differences. Dr Lahners was in a rush from the start of my appt. He made his recommendation, I had questions, but he stood up, opened the exam room door and left, saying "I've gotta go. I don't have time." His assistant wanted to go over next steps, but I politely let her know I wasn't going to move forward. When she asked why, I let her know he didn't give me time for any discussion and I wasn't comfortable. She said he gave me five times more time than he gives anybody.
