I absolutely would recommend Dr. Lahners to family and friends. He did lasik surgery for my daughter about 4 years ago and she is thrilled with the results. He's also done a revision after my cataract surgery to improve my reading vision. IT is a large but well run practice. I am a nurse, so I have a different and experienced perspective. Dr. Lahners is professional, friendly and thorough. He made what could have been a negative experience, into a positive and hopeful visit. I have had 1 surgery and will have 3 more. I am eager to do this and am confident the outcome will improve my life.
I was very skeptical about the procedure as I had a macular picture in one eye. However, Dr Lahners made me feel very secure in doing the procedure. The staff were very caring & efficient. I am extremely pleased with the results!
I started going to Center for Sight 17 years ago. Dr. Lahners performed Lasik surgery on my eyes in 2004, and during my annual checkup, I always tell Dr. Lahners that was the best thing I ever did for myself. About 6 years ago, during an annual checkup, Dr. Lahners detected and subsequently removed a pre cancerous spot from one of my eyes. And just this month Dr. Lahners performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. I completely trust Dr. Lahners and have recommended him to friends. Thank you sir.

Dr. Lahners did cataracts in both eyes. At the pre-op consult he was enthusiastic about the surgical outcome which was very re-assuring. Surgeries were done a week apart at the Sarasota facility. CFS provides van transport which saved the day for me because a)my wife couldn't accompany me due to COVID 19 restrictions, and b)we live in Venice.
Doctor Lahners took his time to explained all about the condition of my eyes. He is a great doctor. I will recommend him to my friends an family.
