Skip – I've been to Wildfire on 5 special occasions, never dissappointed by any aspect of the visit. Highly recommend the Lamb chops...they're incredible! An ideal place for a celebration or a romantic dinner for two...an absolutely outstanding dining experience!
Wildfire is right! – I've eaten at Wildfire approx 10 times. Excellent chopped salad! Food is very good. Prices ok. Service and table proximity --- yikes! Every time we have a reservation; every time we still have to wait -- up to 20 minutes. The wait staff has a tough time serving the food, because the tables are way too close together. Also negative is the speed with which they try to remove your plates and get you out the door! The Best of The Best in the Twin Cities – Wildfire is literally one of the best unknown restaurants throughout all of the twin cities. It serves the perfect dining experience. Everyone of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The couple of times that my wife, friends, and I have dined at Wildfire were some of the best expereinces in any restaurants throughout the country. Best Steak in Town – I've eaten at all of the top steak houses in town: Morton's, Ruth Chris, Manny's, but nothing compares to WildFire's steaks. Their Blue Cheese crusted steak is unbelievable!! If you don't have reservations, the wait is a bit long and the food is a little on the spendy side, but it is well worth it!!
Went on recommendation of friend.. – My boyfriend and I went last year just after it opened and were very disappointed...we waited for a table that we had a reservation for. We had a booth that sat higher that the dinning room floor did, needless to say I was a bit uncomfortable wearing a skirt in the dinning room floors eye line. Bad Service! – Wildfire is a pretty good looking place. The atmosphere/deco is comparable to Rudolf's BBQ. I am not too happy with their services though. My husband and I were seated promptly but our server ignored us for a very long time(a good 15 minutes). Plus, the place was not busy. My husband and I watched as other tables who were seated after us were helped first. We were about to just leave but my husband made eye contact with the manager who immediately informed the servers. great food – we went as a group of 8 and had a great time! I loved the fillet and the scallops were awesome!! Dessert menu could have been better.
Treat Yourself – this is our all-time favorite restaurant and I am very picky. The service is awesome--very attentive without annoying. The food has always been great. The blue-cheese encrusted filet and chopped salad are must haves. The martini's are great too. The seafood is fresh and tasty. Make your reservations way in advance thought.
