Good but not great – I've eaten here a dozen times. My husband likes this place. Portions are good size although they seem to have gotten smaller recently. The steaks are good but not melt in your mouth. I recommend any of the soups. One of the better places in town but not the best.
Excellent! – Wildfire offers exquisite food with an elegant atmosphere. Their chops and seafood are both excellent, as well as the service. I have been a regular for years and I always leve satisfied.
Overrated – I really don't understand what all the excitement is about regarding lettuce entertain you restaurants. I get the feeling that a lot of the glowing reviews are written by LEY employees. The Wildfire atmosphere is uncomfortable. The music is very loud, making it near impossible to converse with others. Nice but a bit pricier than it's worth – Food is good, and the service is good, but not good enough to spend 1/2 weeks pay on one meal. If someone else is paying though, it's a treat.
Great Prime Rib – Great Food, Wait staff was friendly, and service was prompt. Great chioces on the desert tray. I would recommend all of you try this place.
Do go late! – Food all seemed fine however if the place is not packed and your still dining they are likely to ask you to leave. At 11:00pm during the holidays the manager came by our table and said "ladies it is time" Wow!! Well I guess thats the last time we dine here.
Amazing even without reservations! – I can't say enough that is good about this place. The first time we went was 2 years ago on my birthday. Of course we did not have reservations but even though they told us it would be about a 45 minute wait if we waited 20 I would be surprised. The steak was by far the best I have ever had (blue cheese crusted fillet!!!) Since then we have been back a number of times and have had a great experience every time. Avoid – August 22, 2007, 6 pm, was the worst experience. After 1 hour of waiting we have to wait 1:30 more. The opposite was told in the beginning. The hostess and manager, tried to make all kind excuses for their mess-ups. We left.
Just Terrible – So, I heard about a restaurant named Wildfire, and that Michael Jordan himself is a regular. As a consequence, I thought Wildfire would be exceptional. However, our findings did not match our expectations?at all. So, we go to Wildfire in Glenview and dine one day.
