I have been with Wilbur's for almost 10 years now and I would never go anywhere else. They have technicians who are friendly, knowledgeable and who really care, and I always feel very well taken care of. Today I had an issue with my thermostat and Todd came out to take care of it. He noticed something was not quite right and went above and beyond to diagnose and solve the problem. He did such an awesome job and I was so appreciative that he took his time to do the job right. It's because of technicians like this that I always go back to Wilbur's. Will also came over to help and he was wonderful about going above and beyond for me too. They just have a great crew and management team. You will always be in good hands with them.

While I was out of town, we had air issues and my wife had to call on Wilbur's. They took complete advantage of the situation. The company misrepresented the parts they installed on my unit. They charged $193 for what they called a "Low Voltage Circuit Protector" and $297 for what they call a "Electronic Phasing Unit." Only after being confronted about the fact that NO OTHER Air Conditioning company has EVER heard of an Electronic Phasing Unit did they admit the parts were actually a $1 fuse and a $20 Capacitor. They also quoted a price of $1,000 + for a defrost board which another company was able to replace very quickly for just over $200. Additionally, they charged over $200 to diagnose that I needed a new thermostat which I then installed myself...They refuse to provide an itemized bill nor a parts number for any of the items. They claim the reason for these inflated charges are because of what they call a "Flat Rate Fee." I call it price gouging and dishonest business practice. We reached out to multiple people in the industry who were shocked by the experience we had and said this was seriously bad business. In a matter of two months we paid them around $800 and nothing was ever fixed.

Mr. ********, we have been out to your home on two separate occasions. The first visit, on 2-24-2021, we presented options upfront for the downstairs system and the repair was approved up front and the repair was completed. We also gave a quote to install a new thermostat but this option was declined because you wanted to install it yourselves. The second visit, on 3-29-2021, we were called out to take a look at a separate issue on the upstairs system. We again, gave options up front for repairs and also to replace the defrost board, and an option to replace the system due to the age of the system. The defrost board and the system replacement options were declined and the repair option was approved, therefore we completed the repair. On MArch 31st, an itemized receipt was requested from our company, we had already provided our invoice itemized based on tasks performed. This was not what was wanted and we had our service manager call and answer all the questions you had. The service manager explained the following: The invoice given to the homeowner was itemized; our company is not a "time & material" company we are a flat rate company. To define a flat rate company, our price book is comprised of a flat rate for each task that the technician performs, this task amount is comprised of several different things, benefit of flat rate pricing is that we are able to present a price per task up front before the work is done. Customer sees price before any work is done, has the option to ask questions approve work or not do any work. So, no matter how long the task takes or what it entails our price does not change from what is given up front. Our cost to do business far extends our technicians time on the job and materials used on the job. It starts with advertising, running a call center, running a dispatch center, then our tech comes to your home, none of which includes a very long list of expenses for business in our industry such things as, employee benefits, uniforms, employee salary, fully stocked trucks, taxes, tags, titles, workman's comp, and so on. Both Jason and Cameron were very professional in their assessment of the job or task of looking things over regarding my hot water tank issues. They both presented themselves totally prepared with PPE due to the ongoing pandemic. They came back to me with a detailed quote of what the job would need and options. Also answered questions and concerns to help clear up any confusion. Totally professional.

Excellent customer service from initial phone call to writing a check. Brie was helpful and pleasant. Scott serviced the HVAC and Jacob serviced our Water Heater. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend Wilbur's for all of your HVAC and Plumbing needs. Thank you!

We have done business with Wilbur's for plumbing and HVAC needs since early 2000's. They always have great customer service. The office staff as well as the team service staff are great. All calls to schedule and confirm are courteous and professional. The service technicians are also courteous and professional. We replaced both our HVAC and furnace units in 2019. We have always been satisfied with any type of service they have performed for us. We highly recommend them for existing or new equipment.

Matt was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He was very pleasant to deal with and even though he had to go through the BWWB and their representatives, he was very accommodating and did a wonderful job!!! i would recommend him to any business!!! Thank you!!
