Most excellent, lovely, fantastic selection of lovely plants!
We bought a rose bush from them. It arrived packaged perfectly and very well protected. It took off the minute we planted it. It's covered in buds and blooms.
We bought our first house a little over a year ago so I have ordered A LOT from them (online). About 30 barefoot peonies, about 10 hydrangeas, a few ground covers, a zillion different types of tulips, a lilac bush and a peach tree. EVERYTHING was beautiful, healthy and in great condition and is thriving in our garden now �.
I ordered bare root daylilies end of April. They arrived in May and I planted them the very next day. Within 10 days they were sprouting from the ground. Every root I was sent has successfully taken to the ground. EXCELLENT! I wish Whiteflower Farm would have more coupon codes and offer free shipping for big orders. I'd purchase more plants.
So I like to order from White Flower Farm but I end up disappointed at least half the time. Last year some of my vegetable plants came though broken off at the stem. To be fair I got some kind of a small credit but I really needed the plants. This year veggies were good, but I ordered a bunch of milkweeds 7 (seven) in fact for about $100 and they are so, so tiny I am afraid it will take years to see much. If they were really cheap it would be one thing, but at an average of about $13 each it is very disappointing.
