Amazing for exotics, invested, caring staff, Dr. Schwartz #1!!!! We take our guinea pigs to Dr. Schwartz and have for almost two years-we've gotten to know the staff at Wheaton. They really care about the pets and people. Dr. Schwartz is amazing with exotics. What he doesn't know he'll look up-and it's hard to find something he doesn't know. Good basic clinic I have taken both of my cats to this clinic, I find it to be a bit pricey, but very caring and easy to work with. Their later hours help allow for care around my work schedule and they are very good about treating urgent care items (minor wounds, irritation).

The "Jiffy-Lube" of veterinary hospitals Perhaps OK for routine shots and obvious problems like broken bones or skin disorders. Not OK for any non-routine diagnostics or therapeutics. Vet (Schwartz) not up to date with modern veterinary medicine at all. Front office staff is pleasant enough.
Unhappy I am not a big fan of Wheaton Animal Hospital. I took my black lab there several times when he was a puppy. I always felt rushed and the Dr. was running behind on appointments so I had to wait. Then I felt my questions weren't answered thoroughly. I tried to call back to ask a question when my puppy was vomiting and no doctor ever called back. I ended up calling another hospital (Kindness) and they saw my pup that day. Best Vet around Our family has been taking our dogs to Wheaton Animal Hospital since they opened off Georgia Rd. Dr. Able and Dr. Schwartz started the practice and we do not take our dogs anywhere else. My older dog is the best patient, my younger one tries to bite. Dr. Schwartz is great with both of them and somehow manages to get the younger one the shots/care he needs. The office staff is great and always pleasant to me and my dogs. I drive from Howard County to see Dr. Schwartz and the Wheaton Animal Hospital staff
great animal hospital We take our dog and two cats to Wheaton Animal Hospital and think they are great. We go to Dr. Bennett and she has always been quick to call us back if we have a problem with one of our pets and need fast advice.
To: Joon J Keith is the Mgr of Wheaton Animal Hospital and has totally devoted approximately 20 years to making sure the customers are helped, the animals are cared for and that everything is taken care in the most compassionate, and professional way that anyone possibly can. No complaints I have been to Wheaton Animal Hospital twice with my pet snake and I have no complaints. Dr. Swartz is very knowledgable and excellent with reptiles. The staff has always been very friendly and the waiting room is never crowded. I have also not had to wait long as I am seen by the doctor at my scheduled appointment time.
