Best Vet around Our family has been taking our dogs to Wheaton Animal Hospital since they opened off Georgia Rd. Dr. Able and Dr. Schwartz started the practice and we do not take our dogs anywhere else. My older dog is the best patient, my younger one tries to bite. Dr. Schwartz is great with both of them and somehow manages to get the younger one the shots/care he needs. The office staff is great and always pleasant to me and my dogs. I drive from Howard County to see Dr. Schwartz and the Wheaton Animal Hospital staff
Chip I have found that ALL the personnel at Wheaton Animal Hospital have been professional, cordial and loving to my dog. The prices are fair, the conditions clean and comfortable and the staff excellent. Keith is and has always been professional and kind to me and my pet. Angie is polite and thorough as well as being professional. The doctors do their job so very well. worst animal hospital in maryland this is the worst animal hospital ive ever been to. the people at the desk are unfriendly and rude at best. you can make an appointment for your dog and when you get there, they refer you to someone else. my dog is 18 yrs old and couldnt eat or drink for 2 days and they tell me its not an emergency and that i should go somewhere else, when i had an appointment. i dont recommend anyone take their pet there because you will receive poor service. the vet dr. schwartz is a great vet, but everyon... read more
No complaints I have been to Wheaton Animal Hospital twice with my pet snake and I have no complaints. Dr. Swartz is very knowledgable and excellent with reptiles. The staff has always been very friendly and the waiting room is never crowded. I have also not had to wait long as I am seen by the doctor at my scheduled appointment time.
Wheaton Animal Hospital I have been taking my animals to Wheaton Animal Hospital for over 15 years and I have always found all of the staff to be highly professional and courteous. Dr. Schwartz has been my main vet for my dogs, rabbits, and now my latest addition Melvin, my cat. The other staff including vets, techs, and those at the reception desk have always been courteous and attentive. I give them all my highest recommendation.
Sweet staff I just love the people at Wheaton Animal Hospital. I took my very sick ferret there to be seen by doctor Schwartz and not only was he extremely sincere about the ferret's condition but he was also the first doctor I met who didn't mind spending his time talking to us and explaining what was going on. Long-time Happy Pet Owner Loves Wheton Animal Hospital! I have taken several generations of pets to Wheaton Animal Hospital with great success. The lobby is divided into two different sides so cats and dogs can be separate and comfortable if need be. Good quality care I've been going to Wheaton for 14 years now with 3 different dogs and have received consistently excellent care. Dr. Schwartz has been the primary caregiver, but I've also had appointments with several other vets when he was not available. I've found them all to be knowledgeable and courteous. Some of the front desk staff can seem gruff at times, especially to newcomers. By now, I've learned the personalities of most of them and simply make allowances for that. Unhappy I am not a big fan of Wheaton Animal Hospital. I took my black lab there several times when he was a puppy. I always felt rushed and the Dr. was running behind on appointments so I had to wait. Then I felt my questions weren't answered thoroughly. I tried to call back to ask a question when my puppy was vomiting and no doctor ever called back. I ended up calling another hospital (Kindness) and they saw my pup that day.
