I have been using west side forever and iv loved them so much until about the last year. I’m not sure if management changed or what happened but it’s like they don’t care about the animals they take care of now and are just interested in handing you that expensive price tag (they charge outrageous prices compared to other vets around now, they used to be competitive). Disappointed is an understatement. I have three dogs, one was neutered, all got their shots and one had hip surgery in the past year.
RecommendedI just want Dr. Ames and his excellent staff that Buddy Donnelly has turned 14 years old today. Without their outstanding care, my little old man wouldn't still be with me today. I also take my Jude pup and Precious kitty to Dr. Ames too. I wouldn't trust them to anyone, or anywhere else! Thank you for keeping my Buddy going!🐾💖
Dr Ames sees my whole zoo of dogs, cats, pet lizards, pet snakes and rabbit. He is thorough and kind and genuinely cares for his patients and their people. The entire staff has never been anything but welcoming to my pets and I. My oldest dog loves going to the vet more than anywhere else. ❤

Dr. Joshua Ames and the staff are truly a special group of people. We had our baby put down and Dr Ames asked before we left if he could have a prayer with us. we need more caring people like him in this world. I consider him more than a doctor,hes a friend!
We love taking our babies to them. Very friendly staff the doctors are wonderful. Trust me they are great.
