In years past this was the go to for me for R&R. Most recently I've noticed it is a bit dated and some maintenance issues left unattended. This is most unfortunate as I stay here for a day or two several times a year.
My Mom and I stayed at Westlake Village Inn on 8/14 and 8/15/16. We have never been treated as well. I am sure it is a product of extensive training, but the girl at the check in desk, Julia, made me feel like I was the most important guest at the hotel. I told her that my Mom had decided to come at the last moment and asked if there was a way to get a room with 2 queen beds instead of the one king I ordered. The grounds were so lovely for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the bridal suite was lovely. The balcony and sweeping staircase offered many photo opportunities. The reception staff were prompt and efficient in the dinner service. Well done.
