University Hospital today marks 1 year that my son passed away under your care to be exact on the 9th floor. I use to think of UC as the best hospital in Cincinnati but that is the furthest thing from the truth. Your staff on the 9th floor along with the head nurse Katie did nothing to help my son . in fact he had to call me because of his treatment, lack of getting his medication on time (which I witnessed during my visit that day) also to be belittled by your head nurse is inexcusable. First I’ll start by say FIRE THE WHOLE HOUSE KEEPING TEAM EXCEPT SOBEL (the lady with the dreads )she was the only one I could count on to do her job properly no complaints from me about her at all the rest some days just never came to do their job resulting in me having to call them several times or for me to call them back to finish their job the last thing I would want to deal with while staying in hospital during a CORONA VIRUS EPIDEMIC is to not have my room properly cleaned or not cleaned at all I’m very upset with the... read more

I wanted expert care so I chose to go to their ER. And I did receive excellent medical care. However, it was 5 hours before I was offered a blanket (and that was by a nice man from the imaging department). I had asked for something to drink and was told I could have it after the doctor saw me. I was in the ER for 7 hours and did not get so much as a sip of water. I requested assistance to use the restroom and no one came in until it was time to release me. I know nurses are stretched and tired, but we patients are there beca... read more

This morning I went to the UC West Chester Hospital lab in room 103 for my anual lab work requested by my primary health physician. When leaving the hallway, I was approached by a patient that was lost. Asking if I knew where to get his covid test. There was a sign there that said covid test in room 301, but the sign was not facing the direction of people coming from registration, no arrows to elevator, no translations to other languages. I also was taken there after a head on crash in OCTOBER l the staff was friendly. I also had surgery and therapy to aid in my recovery . The driver hit me head on, he was in a bigger van than mine, also had iron bars on the front of his van, he was on the wrong side of the road and never applied his brakes. I did not know him. Best wishes for a great recovery for you.
