I came via ambulance to this hospital because of the EMT’s suggestion. HUGE mistake! I was put in the waiting room for 6 hours. While waiting, there were no masks required. A man was coughing, I asked the triage nurses if he could be asked to put a mask on and was advised that it was “his choice.” I was discharged from the hospital. However, they neglected to tell me that my potassium was critically low (even though they tested it). Poor service. My fever is up and they will not bring me anything to drink. They are tired of me calling wanted my meds I should never need to know the word pain here.. But thru treat must treat everybody like junkies. WELL I'M NOT
RecommendedExceptional staff of medical professionals! I was in the ICU from December 8th to January 4th, the first leg of a 74 day, three facility hospital stay. My care there was not only the best and most professional, it saved my life. On top of it all, the staff ensured that my California family was kept informed of my progress. When my elder sisters were able to be here, the staff treated them like their own family. I can't say enough about the holistic care and treatment I received at WellStar Paulding. I am forever grateful!
Stay away from Well Star Paulding Hosptial. Lydia Castell is the Director of Surgery and allows her OR Team such as Jennifer Parker to post these comments about male surgery patients. SHAME! They should all be FIRED!

It's one of the most caring and have the most professional doctors and nurses and caregivers in Georgia. Been there a couple times this year and so has my husband for surgeries. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you to all the committed staff members - YOU ROCK !!
Testing entering the facility is sparse. There’s multiple entrances with no one screening visitors. There’s is no screening at the Parking garage entrance and outpatient pavilion. Wellstar needs to take everyone’s safety more seriously.
Hire people that know how to do there job and arnt lazy. And get an aditude when a patient ask you to do something for them. Not just wellstar paulding but all wellstars are going downhill. Fast
