Cannot understand poor English from interviewers . Accent so bad had to ask for a supervisor or someone who can speak better English. Singed me up without my consent and ruined my ability to have my usual prescription coverage by my long time insurance company. You are considered guilty immediately by Humana. I will never attend a Medicare meeting at the senior center again.

HORRIBLE!!! SCHEDULED TRANSPORTATION FOR MY QUADRIPLEGIC SON TWICE ONLY TO HAVE THEM NO SHOW BOTH TIMES! CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL FROM DISPATCH, BUT THE CALL NEVER CAME. MY SON WAS SCHEDULED FOR A VERY IMPORTANT UPPER GI FOR A GASTRIC BLEED. I HAVE ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR TO CONTACT ME, BUT AGAIN NO FOLLOW UP. My Mother in law enrolled in this prescription plan in November 2016 to take effect January 1, 2017. The plan covered every one of her medications and paid the pharmacy without any problems all year so we continued the coverage. THEN, on December 22, 2017 we received a letter dated December 9, 2017 stating that she owed $828 premium for the year 2017. I called only to find out that they had never completed the paperwork to hold the premium from her monthly check all year! Now this is an elderly lady on a fixed income. They w... read more

Maria G., Sr. Medicare Benefits Consultant Agent for WellCare,, made it easy for me to enroll and was responsive for the first few weeks after signing me up. Now, she does not answer emails and her phone voice mail box is full, so I cannot leave a message. I'm told to call Customer Service, but the menu and my hearing deficit make that impossible. This is making me sorry I left Humana.

I keep getting calls from a variety of Wellcare reps. They sound like they are from a call center in India. I have asked, begged, demanded that they remove my number from their calling list. They still call me. This is harassment and their customer service is disgusting.

This company has the absolute worst UM department and customer service. I work as a UR nurse internally at a hospital and constantly see them refuse care and continued stays for appropriate services. Worst off, the main UM nurse Cynthia B. is wildly incompetent, asking the most basic nurse questions, yet makes the determinations of medical necessity. How do you have an LPN who doesn't know basic anatomy or simple disease processes making decisions about the medical necessity of complex patient care??? To make matters worse, ... read more

This place is a joke. I've been trying to get a medication they gave me PA for over 5 yrs. ago & now suddenly saying they never have. Even my pharmacist is at a loss as to why. Just like me he gets a different excuse with each CS or WellCare pharmacist conversation. I'm down to 2 pills with no help in sight. This isn't the first time they've done it. I wouldn't send a dog there. I guess the reason why they get by with it is it's the only game in town for those poor enough to be on Medicaid.

Wellcare has the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. I have now been on the phone for 47 minutes trying to get information on how to update my Providers Address. Horrific over seas customer service. They should be ashamed.

Well Care insurance is horrible to the customers. I am in the 4th stage of Emphysema, I am an amputee, I have heart problems and am an unstable diabetic . I am on continuous oxygen. I can't walk any longer and am bed ridden. I had to go to the hospital and was in for 8 days. Well care denied payment of claim. I have a spot on my lung and since I do have emphysema , I have to have lung X-rays. Well Care denied that. I need the medication Spiriva but that was denied. In regard to the member's denial of claim, our benefits configuration department reviewed the claim in question and determined there was a timing issue during configuration of the submission.
