Bought two bridesmaids dresses online - paid $90 shipping on top of $20 per dress 7 week rush cut to be met with £107 customs charge once they reached the UK. Dresses arrived yesterday and they are very noticeably different!! So ive paid nearly £500 for two dresses which arent even the same!
Exceptionally dissaponted and overrated. Would highly recommend local boutiques for dress shopping and much better customer service than the Wedding Shoppe in St.Paul.
I was excited to order from here ... They Had a good selection ... Paid 25 to rush order my dress I finally got it two weeks ago it did not fit me .. It was huge and didn't compliment me at all ..: I saw it had a slip to return I was relieved ... Until I got a call and they only gave me 50 % of what I paid ... See they charge a 50% restocking fee .: I talked to a lady before I returned and she never mentioned the 50% fee so btw shipping and retiring my dress I only got back 90 and I spent 189 really !! I went to this store on Saturday and I would like to say that my experience with The Wedding Shoppe was AMAZING!! I can't thank Kate enough for helping me find my dress! She was amazing and she took the time to get to know what I wanted and what I liked. Everyone there was so helpful and very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone!! I am so excited to get my dress and wear it for my wedding!! I can't wait!
It was an amazing experience! Dani was my consultant and I would recommend her to every girlfriend getting married after me. I went once with only my mother and filled her in what I wanted, but she was so good at pulling "wild cards" I fell for dresses I didn't even think of. And for the second time in to pick from my top three, I called about 5 times to make sure I was on Dani's schedule (and one of those times to put a dress back into the line up, which happens to be the one I picked). I absolutely LOVED The Wedding Shoppe. Everyone was friendly and kind. They took my ideas into consideration, and brought me ones they thought would fit my body shape. Funnily enough, one of the ones I looked at online my consultant was going to pick out for me, and happened to be the one! The only downside is that they don't do alterations, but you can find a lot of people who are willing to do that from their own home.
I picked up my beautiful wedding dress this weekend and we were extremely disappointed in The Wedding Shoppe as my dress was HUGE on me. I was measured beforehand and they determined my size which came to be 2x the size of me. I took it to another alterations location and she stated this happens all the time through the wedding shoppe. I am now paying over half the price of my dress in alterations for it to fit me. I would not recommend the wedding shoppe to others.
