Dr. Burkhead has been working on both of my shoulders since I met him in November 1999. I still have issues because they’re a bad shoulders but he keeps them moving where I can get my golf played. I love him for that!
The true shoulder god for sure
Excellent surgeon. I had a total shoulder replacement and did a lot of research before choosing Dr. Burkhead. I’m so glad I chose him. Yes, I did see the PA a lot, but that is the way it is with most surgeons. They have had to change common practices of seeing patients, because they are paid so little. I was shocked when I saw what insurance paid him. It was already anything!

I have been a Burkhead patient for many years. He is consistently knowledgeable, caring snd forthcoming as he shares his observations, impressions and recommendations. He is the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever been to. I recommend him without reservation.
Best shoulder surgeon in Dallas!
Was so nice and friendly. Great bedside manner. Didn't rush to surgery. Exploring other options first and actually able to give me some injections to help pain during first visit as well as a prescription to help with pain while sleeping. Going for follow up in a couple weeks and feel completely confident in his care and that he will and can help me.

Dr. Burkhead is the finest doctor I've ever used. His staff is very responsive and knowledgeable.
