Dr Burkhead is a compassionate and brilliant physician who carefully listens, asks probing questions, and completes a physical assessment before making a decision regarding his treatment plan. He includes the patient in his thought process making the visit feel like a collaborative effort. He has performed several successful rotator cuff repairs for me that enabled me to regain full mobility and strength, allowing me to return to the exercise I love. I wholeheartedly trust him highly and recommend him!
excellent people skills not to mention, an incredible surgeon. I didn't think my left shoulder would ever work again.
My visit with Dr Burkhead was very good, but I am still hurting and I have engender the shoulder twice since I was there.

Dr. Burkhead is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to explain things to you. He previously operated on my shoulder and my husband's as well and we were able to return to our active lifestyle. Recent visit was for the other shoulder but thankfully doesn't look like it will require surgery. He is very thorough. You can be confident you are being seen by the best of the best!

Dr. Buz repaired my torn rotator cuff and relocated and repaired my biceps 10/2019. I had little pain, no infection, easy rehabilitation (considering it's a shoulder). As important was the experience. Dr. Buz, the PA, and the staff are top professionals who really care about my well being. Dr. Burkhead is one of the most capable, compassionate and skilled doctors I have ever encountered. He has minimized my discomfort resulting from a frozen shoulder and coordinated my care taking into account other treatments I am undergoing for a separate medical condition. I would recommend him wholeheartedly and am so thankful he is my doctor.
Dr. Burkhead completely fixed my shoulder! His manner and clear explanations were very much appreciated!
