If you haven't been to Wayfare Tavern, you must go, and order the fried chicken. It's so good you'll plan your next visit before you've even left the restaurant. I also love the steaming hot rolls that come to your table with wonderful soft butter and sea salt on top. So good! Can't wait to go back again!
I did not have a good experience. Good luck on the service you receive. I hope your food is of better quality (my buddy's opinion). Pray your manager is not condescending and your wait staff is not flippant. The server and the receptionist were the only professionals I encountered the evening I was there. So that's good 😊, right?
We had the famous chicken and it was everything it promised to be - deliciously crispy on the outside and moist on the inside! I would have it again. The layout of the restaurant is cozy yet fun! Our first wait person was ending his shift so understandably eager to pass us over to another wait staff who was exceptional! Oh, I almost forgot the delicious popovers served warm with salted butter - a real treat!
Chicken was the best. It was very well seasoned and the mac and cheese was very good as well.
Great bar. Service was ok a lil slow but ok. Had the oysters to start they were amazing. Had the fried chicken...very good but not as good as Sweet Ts in Santa Rosa...
Excellent wild salmon and squash soup! Place was crowded at lunch but was seated at counter quickly where we could watch food preparation
We went to the city for our 9 Anniversary and we decided to have dinner at Wayfare Tavern and it was amazingly the right choice! We ordered the Pork Shank and Salmon with sides of roasted mushrooms and cauliflower (excellent!!!) followed with the homemade doughnuts, mango sorbet and coconut cake!!! It was a fantastic evening!!!!!
We ordered the devil eggs that left my mouth watering. We ordered the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese on the side, which were both great. My husband ordered their fried chicken and it was amazing. Thin breading, the way we like it. And my gnocchi dish blew my mind with all the rich flavors. We went during late lunch hour, ao it wasn't packed. We got great service and left a worthy tip. Always worth going to.
