Excellent food and service. Perfect for our 10th wedding anniversary. Thank you everyone at Wayfare Tavern!
For chicken, KFC is better. This place didn't even have gravy or BBQ sauce. And there's only one bathroom upstairs, & you have to awkwardly stand waiting, right by the crowded wine server station to use it. However, the Moscow Mules are good.
Fantastic food! And Maurice was AMAZING! Great experience. Can't wait to go back.

The free homemade popovers were light fluffy and delicious, however the famous fried chicken had good pieces and not so good pieces. Dessert homemade donuts were outstanding!
It was amassing. Great fried chicken. Beet salad was a revelation, I hated beets before I ate this salad now I like them. Great service, they are like a well oiled machine
I always wanted to try one of Tyler Florence's restaurants since he is one of my favorite celebrity chefs and while in San Francisco, Wayfare Tavern is a must try. We didn't make reservations but got seated at the chef's table where we faced the kitchen and were able to watch the cooks prepared the orders. Deviled eggs, while good reviews, were not great in our opinion. Sour tasting. However, the fried chicken and donuts lived up to the hype. The service was also impeccable. I would definitely go again.
The food and service was excellent. The eggy, flaky, popover served fresh out of the oven was AMAZING. Loved the warm, rustic decor.
