I was only here for a short amount of time and went out exploring and came across this great little gem.cute cozy little atmosphere and amazing waiters! I went here twice during my stay and it was great both times. Had the fried chicken the first time which was absolutely amazing. I recommend this place to anyone staying here in San Francisco

Popovers were amazing!! Deviled eggs were overpowered by tarragon Fried chicken exceptionally delicious but not hot Burger ordered M came to table W Polenta fries off the charts Coffee amazing and HOT! Donuts to die for Chocolate pie delicious but crust was rock hard and very thick Service Meh at best Ordered cocktail. Was great. Ordered a second and it was different than first. Will go back and try again.
Wayfare Tavern did an outstanding job with Thanksgiving Day. From the atmosphere, to the craft drinks to the service, and the food.... everything was fabulous. In particular, some real standouts for us was the cold seafood platter, the fried chicken (of Course), the popovers, and the doughnuts. I believe the doughnut was the best I've ever had in my life anywhere -- sorry New Orleans.
Great looking restaurant. Excellent service, and best fried chicken ever. Sat at the tasting table and enjoyed watching the food prep; and well oiled machine as the orders came on and went out.
Absolutely amazing. Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. A must spot for a rehearsal dinner.
Joy was awesome! Up stairs bar! We had the coolest seat in the house !!!!! Also the coolest bartender/ server/ she knows that menu up and down! We started out with these lovely puff right out of the oven with butter🙏So good. We decided to split the fried chicken and mac and cheese and a tavern burger which had a yummy onion jam and fries!!!! We will definitely be back! Joy thanks for all the great recommendations!!! Omg I forgot the donuts for dessert! DELICIOUS
Loved the special touches like a birthday card for me when we sat down. Wonderful food and amazing service! Pork belly appetizer was beyond delicious and fried chicken is almost as good as my own. This is my new favorite restaurant. I'm definitely coming back!💕💕
Just excellent. Our server Johnny was outstanding in customer service.The food was just to die for.And the ambiance is divine. Will go back for sure.
