We had booked our summer vacation a couple of months ago with Vacation Rental Pros. We wanted to stay at a particular complex in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. We were only able to find a unit in the complex through VRP for the week of the 4th (June 30-July 7). We booked the condo and had family also book a condo through VRP so we could stay at the same complex. Vacation rental pros has provided my family the worst service and worst experience. The company is unprofessional and we will never go use them again. I booked a cabin for our trip and was redirected to this company for booking. Had I known then what I know now I would have stayed with American Patriot Getaways or Eagle Ridge Resort. Worst company I ever dealt with. No one returns your calls back, poor service, poor condition Condo's and on and on. Closet doors coming unhinged that hit my wife in the head, shower you could not use, poor air conditioning, no locks on their doors, dirty Condos and on and on. I would recommend that no one ever rent from Vacation Rental Pro's or any of their affiliate companies unless they enjoy getting ripped off. Booked a vacation last year. Vacation got cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. Re booked the vacation in Sept. 2017 for May 2018. Paid an additional $300 for change in reservation price for the rescheduled week. This company sent me an email on 5/12 with instructions for check in etc. I then received a call and an email on 5/15 telling me the rental was no longer available. Accepted a reservation. Took my deposit. Signed an agreement. Then they call a month later and say the owner has it booked with someone else. They now want me to take a reservation with another property.
Stayed in Haven's View cabin in Gatlinburg Tennessee and it was horrible. I called once and was transferred around to three different people and sent two different emails complaining about the condition of the cabin. Several broken Blinds, Carpets were filthy, peeling paint in bathroom shower area, A/C really struggled to cool the second floor to the point the children would not sleep up there (just some highlights) and spider webs everywhere.. Wish I could give VRP negative stars. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE WE'VE HAD! Please do your self a favor and believe all these negative reviews. Find another company to rent from. The owners and managers of VRP should be ashamed that they call this a business. No customer service and their product is NOT as described. We rented the Atlantic View Princess in St. Augustine. I had a signed agreement. A week later the rental was cancelled because of a pricing error. I was told we will be refunded. I was not told of the revised price.
