It's a fun place to spend a day with the family. Some of the prices are unreasonable tho. You just have to control your budget not to go home with an empty bank account.
Fun for the whole family, enjoyed all the games , rides and food. Animals and petting farm also a hit! Will be back next year!
Good time. Shitty line management though. Being some bucks cause it will get costly!
Six bucks for a freaking fried snickers....nuff said.
Bought the season pass which helped with parking and gate costs which are too high when considering the costs inside. Lots to see and do once inside for little or no cost. Most food costs were way too high for what you get, but there were some good deals. Kaleenka piroshky was the best deal with Earthquake burgers being the worst. I'm not one for the vendor booth but I did buy a couple items. Would have preferred not to see the pocket pets for sale or even advertised. Bad move offering those.
The *Puyallup Fair* never, ever disappoints me...Being 60 yrs of age, I get giddy ! I remember my parents taking us when I was child...wonderful memories come flooding back !... and now, we enjoy taking the grandkids, watching our grandkids perform (dance)...the grandkids' excitement and faces are priceless when they are on rides, trying to win a prize, etc... but then I REALLY enjoy the fair when my hubby and I are off on our own looking @ exhibits and BUYING "stuff" lol...LOVE THE WASHINGTON STATE FAIR...THANK YOU for anot... read more
Should have more animals. Cheaper food, be able pet the horse
At first glance the fair looked great - huge, with a variety of rides. But we made the mistake of going on the last weekend, which also had free entry for kids, as it was incredibly crowded. Lines for any of the roller coaster-type rides were easily 1 hour; I waited 1/2 hour in line just to buy some cotton candy! Otoh the animal and other exhibits were fun, and I bought some custom woodwork that seemed reasonably priced. I'd go back again, just not on the closing weekend.
It's overpriced and the people who run the games are the slowest and rudest people I've seen working in a public forum.
Washington State Fair has a 3.6 star rating with 501 reviews.
Washington State Fair is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
