We live in Pacific Palisades and our LG Washer was flashing a code, after doing some research it was clear that a repair was needed. David from the beginning was pleasant, polite and professional. The code ment that a thermister had failed. David replaced the part and had the machine back to working in short order. Clearly familiar with the machine, he performed a cleaning out it as well. Washer and Dryer Guru their name is representative of this company. The washer, an LG, was not draining. We spoke with the owner, very pleased with this, and was able to schedule a same appointment. Arriving on-time, the inspection process was not rushed. The water would not drain and we came to find out that our soap was to blame. "Checked out non-functioning and leaking all-in-one LG washer/dryer. Found faulty water pump and cracked hose. Replaced water pump but didn't have hose, so returned 2 days later to install new hose. Member Comments: Read reviews on Angie's list and was concerned about being able to get a response. I called at opening time on Monday morning and the phone was answered almost immediately by the owner. The Guru is a fitting title as they were able to solve the problem when no one else could address it. It appears so simple now, soap can wreck havoc on a front load washing machine. The machine is now operating like new. Cleaned out the hoses, pump and simply made it work. We are residents of the Pacific Palisades and are pleased to find a local business. Matthers.

This is an exceptional service business in Los Angeles, our LG washing machine would not drain, it was clear that there was a need for a service company, but we have not always had such great luck in finding a reliable company. Thank you to the Washer Dryer Repair Guru. Very pleased we located the Guru. The machine was making noise for quiet a bit of time. Arriving on-time the service technician was very thorough in his inspection process. It appears that our machine simply had a bolt loose, and as a result of us not taking care of the machine as soon we heard the noise, a part was damaged. We hired the Washer Dryer Repair Guru for our LG washing machine. The machine was making a bad noise while in the spin cycle. The machine was inspected by the technician, we were very pleased, the problem was a part of the motor, stator, was damaged. The parts were replaced and the machine has worked great since. These guys are Guru's. Our machine was beyond repair so we were told. They arrived and had it working within an hour. There was a wire in the harness that simply was disconnected. It was not easy to find, but he did. We appreciate so much the work they did. Thanks
